Following the success of schemes in France and the UK, OYBike is pleased to announce the opening of its newest scheme in Calais, France.

Opening in time for the summer season, OYBike worked with partner Veolia Transport to open the 160-bike scheme in Calais on spec, on budget and on time, welcoming visitors and commuters to a new way to travel around town.

“This is our third bike scheme in France,” said Bernie Hanning, OYBike Managing Director. “Together with our flagship scheme in Cardiff, OYBike is showing it can offer local authorities a scheme to fit any budget or of any size, bringing a new transport option to local towns and cities.”

Within the first week of opening over 1000 journeys had been taken on the OYBikes. The 90 bikes are available to be hired from 18 locations around the town.
