The OYBike system is availabile at key locations in the cities in which we operate, for example:

• Tube stations 
• Public buildings
• Key transport interchanges
• Car Parks

Bicycles are secured to on-street bike stands using cables that are attached to the bicycle (and which double as security locking cables when the bicycles are being hired).

Each bike stand is released and returned though a specially developed  keyboard and LCD display. Instructions for use are available in:

• English
• French
• Italian
• Welsh

To hire a bike, simply switch on the rental unit and follow the step-by-step instructions.

• Select “Rent a bike”.
• Call the number displayed on the screen (it’s a free call)
• Press the lock number of the bike you want to hire and cycle away.

You can return bikes to any OYBike rental system. Simply press the “return bike” button, plug the cable back into the system and confirm bike is secure to complete the process
